It’s been such a long time since I posted. Life is busy with three kids and running your own business. I still find time to scrapbook but not always keep the blog up to date. I post more frequently on Instagram and can be found under the name @chrissy_h1979.
So here is a layout using Pink Paislee’s Fancy Free by Paige Evans. It is one of my all time favourite collections! I fussy cut the flowers and placed them in a triangular shape. This layout was based on a sketch by the talented Laura Rumble http://beadsbuttonsandbirds.blogspot.co.uk
You can see in the photo my new Jane Davenport watercolours. This was taken before they were even opened! I used watercolour to make splatter around where the flowers would be placed. I chose three buttons also from the Fancy Free collection and used coordinated thread to loosely wrap around.
I used the American Crafts Thickers Alignment tool to give the title a bit of movement. I then adhered everything down. A little journalling and the date and Bob’s your Uncle!
